All year round, the Student Dental Clinic for Pediatric Dentistry provides free dental care to children under 10 who are not covered by health insurance. Many of the Clinic’s patients are refugees or new immigrants who would otherwise be unable to access this vital health service.
Care is provided by McGill dentistry students in their final year of study, and is supervised by staff dentists of the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where the clinic is located.
Treatments include:
- complete dental examinations
- x-rays
- regular and deep cleaning
- fluoride treatments
- fillings
- extractions
