P[h]assion

P[h]assion is a student-run non-profit committee with a dual mission: to raise awareness of AIDS within the student body and greater Montreal community, and to raise funds for Maison Plein Coeur and other organizations that support those living with HIV/AIDS.

Since its founding nearly 20 years ago, P[h]assion has raised more than $150,000 for various AIDS foundations. With numerous fundraising events held throughout the year and a highly successful mid-March fashion show, they have brought their message to thousands of spectators, and have joined forces with hundreds of designers and sponsors.

P[h]assion’s events support the following services:

  • Home care for HIV-positive mothers
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Peer support programs
  • HIV/AIDS awareness
  • Advocacy activities promoting a global health approach to HIV/AIDS
