The Chemistry Outreach Group at McGill makes chemistry interesting, accessible and fun. The group’s education program highlights exciting chemical and physical reactions with a wide variety of content that can be adapted to any age group, from kindergarten through CEGEP. The group works closely with teachers to tailor presentations to the class’s current science unit, bringing exciting chemistry demonstrations right to the classroom.
Students are also invited to visit the Otto Maass Chemistry Building for presentations and workshops. The building’s new active learning laboratory provides a state-of-the-art classroom designed to maximize student-teacher interaction and collaborative learning.
