The Redpath Museum on McGill’s downtown campus is an educational jewel in the heart of Montreal. Each year, over 50,000 people come to marvel at the millions of organisms, minerals, and cultural artifacts collected by the museum.

Videoconference tours make it easy for schools to access this priceless resource, regardless of their physical location. Guided by a qualified educator, these one-hour live-streamed sessions inspire even the quietest students to engage.

The tours are complemented by a teacher’s guide with activity sheets and interactive elements that can be used before, during and after the session. Topics offered include:

  • Triceratops and Dinosaur Excavation
  • Mummies and Ancient Egyptian Life
  • Volcanoes
  • Quebec’s Biodiversity

Tours are available to suit all levels in the primary and secondary school curriculums. The videoconferencing system is compatible with a variety of technologies and cloud-based platforms.
